
Angel Reese, born on May 6, 2002, in Randallstown, Maryland, USA, is an American professional basketball player known by the nicknames “Bayou Barbie” and “Chi Barbie.”

Angel Reese’s basketball career began at Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, where she led her team to three consecutive IAAM championships.
At the collegiate level, she played for the Maryland Terrapins (2020–2022) and the LSU Tigers (2022–2024), winning the NCAA Championship in 2023 with LSU and being named NCAA Tournament MOP.
Since 2024, she has joined the Chicago Sky of the WNBA as a power forward.
Angel Reese’s accomplishments in the WNBA are equally impressive, including being named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team (2024) and breaking the record for most consecutive double-doubles by a rookie.
She also became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 450 points and 450 rebounds in just 35 games.
